Broken

Mandi

Emptiness, a husk of what once was alive
The tears have long run dry
Trudging through the false senses and lies
Disgust rest permanently in the groves of a face
A world once full of promise holds disappointment
Rage and indifference are only expressed
Darkness suffocates what's left of a tortured soul
A wall fabricated off pain surrounds a shattered heart
Beauty fades into disfigurement
What's left remaining is utterly broken
