Monster

Stella_Suicide

She screams for help, but nobody hears.

She's all alone, but nobody cares.

They see her scars, her cuts, her burns.

They all stay silent, they ignore her words.

She takes the pills, to numb the pain.

The blades and blood to keep her sane.

There's a monster that lives under her bed.

But everyone tells her, he's just in her head.

He sings her to sleep, and holds her close.

He keeps the nightmares away, and when he's there it shows.

She forgets all the years, she was all by herself.

He keeps her safe, because he knows how she felt.

***

There's a monster that lives under my bed.

What if I wake up...and he's just in my head?
