Hidden within the deepest recesses of our mind twisted, torn, is a mortal rhyme
For in that moment
when alas taken a final breath
the taste of your blood
is there but only darkness in death
The light begins to fade
reminding we are but dust be made
No matter how the tears can grip
from the world we will be made to slip
Hold your fear
mind your tongue
salvation is but to only a whisper
an acceptance in God's eternal ear
look beyond thought
things aren't like that taught
we are but a memory
an etch of time
no physical resemblance
soul twisted like scourged twine
we are but one and yet all
a collective body
seek out purification
denounce desecration
dying is the torn heart's only emancipation
