Memoirs from a Broken Heart

Gino

There’ll come a time when you’ll be lost

Sheer silence will manifest onto you

You’ll come to me, wanting my hold again

Hopelessly my arms will be sealed

Love will cease to course my heart again

As you’ve broken a promise to keep, for granted you took me

And insignificant was I?  For I was never in your deepest sympathy

Cast your tears aside, for your fall will be forever-more

Tend to your finite inquisition, as may your sunset be till infinite

So don’t labor for what you’ve lost anymore

Alas, dark trails will random your path

To my embrace will you press, to only find yourself all alone

Shadows will accompany you for my reflection will deceive your eyes

Gather yourself for another rehearsal

For time will heal what you have sowed

And let the moment pass to spring your decay
