Cornelia

buzzdracula

There are creeping feelings of loneliness currently pounding on my existence

Thoughts, feelings, emotions, staggering weightlessly with no hint of resistance

Searching for the cure to this human condition of all

The ancient spirit, prowling the earth since the fall

A day has past and the joy begins to wane

A year has past and nothing will ever be the same

Clouds of empathy fill the room

Clouds for a soul whom I never knew

She lies in the ground, her stone knocked over

Desecrated, alone, engulfed by clover

Throughout distant lands her seed was lain

Laid beneath the far off terrain

Dreaming of Sunset and Vine and west coast rain

Sleeping under the stars with never ending pain

She has seen the the days go by forgotten

Forgotten by the world and her children begotten

A date and a name, her only memory

Engraved in stone, gone for a century
