Silence

Jamminblu

Voiceless

within utter silence I speak
voice dancing upon ageless deaf ears
once upon my heart held a beat
could you hear the bleeding of my tears

so many winds have carried my soul
aimlessly unnoticed drifting along
cast upon the fields of a darkened shade
sewn are the flowers of a wordless song
faceless face suffocated breath does fade
passing strolls in the night take their toll

winters warm blanket I am kept
for in the spring I raise
a voiceless voice has slept
picked to dry another's eyes

carried for a season
a parched well made wet
silence's purpose having met
a whisper falls and leaves
another empty reason

How can my prayers be heard
when blindly held
are the echoes of my life
voiceless visions eternally obscured
