Sorrow Angel

Eravaash

Oh sorrow Angel.

Lift me from my burdens.

String your wires through my flesh.

Lift me like one of your puppets.

Command me to be different.

Make others enjoy my walk.

Enjoy my talk.

Enjoy my aura, I yet emit.

From me, your puppet, shine.

And shower me in your grace.

And protect me from my own wrong.

Break my bones so I may never walk,

Amongst my path I did wrong.

And smile that smile that breaks the shadows from unholy and unclean,

So that I may be guided with your hope.

And so I may be not what I fear to be,

A monstrosity in pale moonlight.

Oh sorrow Angel.

Never more cry.

You never failed your creation.

It was only I.

I live with a burden of dreadful past.

Lay me down to rest, and may my rest be my last.
