Reaching

Augustus

What is reaching,
what kind of rung?
Reach for right
Reach for Wong

Reaching, overreaching, success and greed,
all subsumed under achieve

Reality can be reached in two ways,
neither is pleasant

Reality is reached by opening your eyes,
wide to the truth

Some don't realize they've reached their limit
till they hear sirens.

Snicker, He reached for his gun,
I was quicker

When dreams cannot be reached,
another's trust may be breached

I believe my audience has reached its limit.

Interesting thought, and apropo as I have stage 4 cancer. Actually these were some musings, some silly, and I though the reader would quickly tire of them. Thanks for reading and commenting.

Send to Don , maybe it would do some good . Nah , probably not . The man/boy lives in another world , a pigment of his own imagination .
