To let you go

Should you ever

want to leave

 

I love you enough

To stand by you

Offering you a reprieve

I am always on your side

 

I never fail to be amazed

By the strength of your character

The brilliance of your logic

The depth of your feelings

 

I believe in your words

In your dreams

In the way you see things

I see the truth behind your eyes

 

I love that everything you stand for

You never back down from

Even at your own peril

That is a most admirable quality

 

I love you enough to see you through

Any and all of the laughter and the tears

Supporting you in all your endeavors

Because I know that you would too

 

You are a rare man

With true abilities

Steadfast in practice

Honorable in every way

 

I love you enough

To tell you

I intend to stay

As long as you want me to
