I want to know why I was close to you
Why I cared for you
You had hearts of two
Yours and mine
Back in time I would go where every thing was fine
Now my insides are out of line
My heart you gave and put back
In the wrong place instead where its usually intact
You probably didn't realize the impact you did
I drown myself in alcohol and acid
I'm over it now
but those times I look back at and it makes me say wow
You are a good person and a friend
You found someone making your happiness not end
My respect from me to him I send
When your happy I'm happy in the end
This year and last had been whacky
For the two of us to hang
This I wrote and sang
Had to get it off my chest
The times we were close was the best
