Lover's Resolve

Mandi

The rain crashes down on a hurt face
Two lovers torn by miscommunication
Fighting loudly in a close space
Each yearning for the others admiration
Angry words slash at hearts breaking
Wanting to comfort but instead causing pain
The cold and emotions have them shaking
Until one realizes from all this there's nothing to gain
A hand reaches out attempting to ease
Afraid of rejection but wanting the misery to stop
The other now quiets and sees
A tear falls as their hands drop
Foreheads touch and they apologize in sync
Smiles replace the forgotten fued
Before they even have time to think
Heads tilt and lips glued
Both now in absolute bliss
Wrapped in a warm embrace
Forgiveness disguised in a kiss
The rain drips off of a love filled face
