The Ecstasy of Gold

Gino

Oceans pour, as the night sky rises into a seclusion of gold,

Marveling our beautiful abode, shadowing our ancient symbols

that cleave to us on a hindrance of light,

So that by their might, we achieve the vindication of our labors,

From the vestiges of valiant heroes who dusted and inspired our penniless walk,

into a sunset of vacant glory...

Ceremonies await, as a revolting world succumbs on the behest of right,

Revolving in an axis of hate, enduring the bitterness of discord,

As love struggles to mend the broken pieces laid behind by the failed

and ecstatic promises of a decadent world...

Breathless with admiration for this treat of a read Gino - your imagery and original word-linking is second to none. Looking forward to reading more of your work.
