I looked back into a memory I enjoyed
Making the others void
A memory love was tied to
Now it gives me the look of a fool
I trusted this opposite of me
Told the deep thoughts I saw
I wonder why it had to be me
Friend's we stayed
Still liked each other in a way
Past has hit us now
Maybe we'll meet again some way some how
But for now I want this friendship to lack
I tell myself, "sometimes you gotta run and don't look back".
