Hope

IDiedLastNight

I saw it last night

It was almost real

It flickered and danced

On a salty ships wheel

But it couldn't last

It was not the right time

How can it be yours

When it begs to be mine

It slipped through my fingers

It fell to the floor

I dropped to my knees

Bowed my head once more

Especially on a ship we need hope. So evasive at times. Well done.
