Words

MusicalRider

Hate.
Love.
Those two words can do so much,
They can send or shoot down a dove.

They can make people cry
Or make them smile.
But whatever you use,
They'll carry out for miles.

You can't take them back,
They're hard to forget.
They'll give you consequences;
You will always regret.

Be cautious using them,
You can never go back.
The line is as thin
As white to black.

The ink is black
And the paper is white
Like those words,
Poems can give or take light.

Feelings wrote down,
Made to be heard.
But some are lost,
Like the feathers of a bird.

This one isn't different;
It will be the same.
Because even poets,
Have to play this hellish game.
