Alarm Clock

Mandi

Ring Ring Ring

The alarm pierces my ears

Reaching for the snooze to end the noise

Relaxing as soon as the sound clears

It is most definitely a device that annoys

I know that I must wake up though

Start the day rise and shine

But it's so comfy bundled up in my throw

I'll give it some more time it will be fine

Ring Ring Ring

Again so soon I just pushed it

Snooze one more time then I will

The sun is not up yet even a little bit

My breathing starts to slow I get real still

Slipping into a dream losing myself

Mind drifting out and in

Ring smack it off the shelf

Okay I'm up you win
