Lymphedema

Augustus

Lymphedema is when the skin is disconnected from your heart. The feelings stay and swell in coffined chambers waiting to be embalmed. They are heavy, hard to carry eventually dragging you down. There is no cure save to slip silently into the light.

I'm going to miss you when you're gone . But I will catch up with you before it's too long . Life was great up to a point but I wouldn't want to do it again . I'll meet you in a place of no pain . Where everyone is smiling all the time . You can tell me about your life and in return I'll tell you all about mine . We'll be surrounded by all our friends . Our aunts and uncles from long ago . Mon and dad and sis and bro and of course Jesus , he told me so .
