Mensa
I of simple mind his
intellect adored
forever mindful of mine
he was ever bored.
Genius
Genius has the ability
to shape time and place,
control objects and people
in space----for virtue and
hurt too.
Brainiac
Brainiac or Maniac
Perfect score his SAT
Mindful of the caveat
Beware the child Prodigy.
Chess Master
His genius spawned two passions,
Chess and Conquest. In neither
were pawns and queens spared
nor for knights and kings compassion.

- Comment from author about the poem: Having been around very bright individuals I've been miffed at how unwilling they are to engage with the less ethereal. What am I, chopped liver? Writing helps to soothe my fragile ego.

Being a lifelong chess player, I'd have to choose Chess Master as my favorite of these, though I enjoyed them all. Thanks for sharing them.
Like war, lots of casualties. Thanks.
This says a lot . Based upon my experience I would have to say the dame as you . It seems the smarter they are the less compassion they have for others and find them simply expendables .
Thanks for your supportive comment. I was worried these would be taken as sour grapes.
Good write A.
Thanks a bunch.
