dreams

misterposs45

I’m  falling through a bottomless pit of cloud; I am in a land of dreams where even Hade’s river looks like an inviting prospect, scrambling down a twisting stairwells filled with men of mist, where only night lies.

A single flower petal drifts across flaming seas where squirming monsters dance in swirling arcs and swaying shoals, in which even the moon itself could be engulfed as a single droplet of white Peruvian wine.

A two headed kookaburra bites at the arm of a walking tree in a forest so large that it’s upmost canopy’s leaves brush against heaven itself and with their omnipotent might, mock even that of the gods.

And when the king of my mind, knights me with the world itself and thrusts me back to the land of life and light, I scream.
