We aren't

Allan J. Renaldo

They say we aren't meant to be.

And it breaks my heart,

Because I have to agree.

They say that I don't love you.

I need you to please know

That it isn't true!

They say that I've fallen apart.

Im afraid I have to blame you,

You've broken my heart.

They say we were poison meant to kill.

And when I've looked back,

I see that love was your deadly skill.

  • Comment from author about the poem: I apologize if this does not make much sense. I must say that it is very late, and this is poem that makes sense to me, but it might not make sense to anyone else considering I do seem to make incoherent thoughts at such a late time like this ~ A
