The Fine Print

ummbre

You care about me but not enough

You love me but not too much

You let me cry but not for too long

You listen to my problems but not too many

This is your fine print

I should've looked closer before I trusted you

Everything you say feels like a cautionary tale

You make me feel like the damsel in distress

What if I want to save myself this time?

You know your way around this castle

like you've done this before

like im not the only princess you've saved

I wish I knew how to read inbetween the lines as they leave your mouth

I know your script

You're act

You've always been the villain

Thank you

For playing your role

You taught me that

If something's too good to be true

read the fine print

Get cliff notes on any potential future relationships . There has to be stepping stones (past relationships) he walked over to get to you .
