I lay on the cold hard ground waiting for you to break on me, to fall apart, just so I can get to know you. Because maybe we have something in common.
I'm tired of being alone and the rain doesn't make it better and I don't want to make a stone house to someone who doesn't deserve it. I want to belong, but not in a way that when you break eventually, you the shard, hardens suddenly; and we never find peace...
Please give me the chance I deserve because I'm giving you my time.
A time that waits. A time that is patient.
A time that heals. A time that binds.
A time that loves. A time that is kind.

- Comment from author about the poem: a few weeks ago i read a comment about how there are two forms of people in this world glass and stone. I took that advice and in this poem i turned it in to something we should hope more from anyone. To not waste our time by crying behind something that someone said to us because them as the glass will break eventually and we will soon know why they did what they did and maybe become friends as me and my bully did. I don't want us to never find peace. Forgiveness is key because it lifts a burden from our black hearts that is tainted by hate, cruelty, and grudges.
