Covenant

BloodPho3nix

Late nights turn into regret
As I give into my dark desires
I'll only be left upset
But what we have soon expires

Numb when it enters my blood
The devil stares back at me
Takes too much, head makes a thud
Relinquishing the one thing that sets me free

As I lay frozen
My soul you may keep
What a beautiful night chosen
To drift into an eternal sleep

I love the reference to the "Lords Prayer" at the end there! Well done.

Thank you! I guess you could call it that 🙂
