Temptations

fayeisabee1

This is a dark generation from new temptations
Sitting eyes square from social exploration.
Around the world they fly, yet on their couch they sit,
Lips sealed shut but still their phones flick.
This is a black suit celebration, a wedding formation.
Practicing their vows all in coordination.
Government control- we're just numbers in a pit.
Tax for this, pay for that
while they eat off a golden dish.
A dark generation- more like a mental complication.
Men handing sweets in a white van on the pavement.
More like an iPad, probably get more kids.
Focused on flappy birds then who they're sitting with.
Lazy we're becoming and lazier we'll get.
Until the day even the ones we love we'll forget...

    Life has always been dull.
    It's true, take a look.
If it wasn't a cell phone,
In the old days: A book.
