Pain

MusicalRider

Sometimes my chest hurts
Not just normal pain.
Pain killers can't stop it,
It's one my heart gained.

It's what I feel
When I know
That one day I'll stand here
As I watch you go.

Watch you walk away
Finally be free,
And as selfish as it is,
I just think "What about me?"

Why do you leave me in this hell?
Left with these demons
You'll walk away,
As I continue to be beaten.

But that doesn't shine through,
Since I wear a mask
And I hope that someone knows my pain

Without having to ask.
