Through the rush

mrj

in the darkness walking alone only the lights of cars passing as I walk in the darkness the sound of the wind blowing through the trees. The noises of the cars passing by and foots steps going to and from people jogging people laughing the owl hoots until the distance the sound is gone only the wind no cars no lights I turn I see in the distance the rushing people the lights in the cars going back and forth to and fro and the distance of laughing and crying in the darkness to the light through the rushing town and city.
