My hell

Justagirl

As you walk through the halls

you see the girls who go to the mall

then you see the girl standing alone

leaned against the wall

asking what's wrong could make your coolness fall

but you can't think about that at all

High school is a bad place,

don't let anyone see the pain on your face,

keep up with everyone else's pace

you can't let anyone in

because you feel that is a sin

don't let high school begin

to make you like them

don't ever make an effort to blend

Then you'll just be a high schooler

Nice work. Is high school a bad place? Or just a place where bad things happen? How can one be true to one's best self and still "fit it?" Keep writing!

It has been a long long time, but I still do remember the pressures to "fit in". I don't know if it will help, but maybe read my poem "Symphony", it just might give you some answers.
