Raindrops

Clairie840

Rain drops on my window
Makes me remember
Reminds me of you

Make s me smile
If only for a while

Raindrops on the floor
The smell that i adore
The mist in the air
Its more than a memory i share

With the damp cool breeze
It touches my skin
I remember your hand touching
Me as im trembling
Stroking my inner wild

Its the passion i adore
The windows wide open
The rainstorm outside
The euphoric smell

I look in your eyes
You hold my gaze
Its all too intense
You glance away and yet

Your fingers touch my soul
I feel weak and i know
Its because of you
Theres a connection

My head is on your chest
Listening to your every breath
Running my fingers up and down your
Skin you ask me not to stop

I cant think of anywhere i would rather be

The word that comes to mind when reading your great poem is: Intimacy.
The moment when two souls are totally in sync, when you feel a heart beat and are not sure if it is yours or his/hers. Well written, I like it.
