Those Moments Remember.

kevin browne

Indentation on desires which thought made you think was sad
Forever giving in to all the things around that burn our pockets
Leaving behind the convictions and all of what was before you
Picking up the amounts of involvements but was never needed
The streets are covered with the footsteps who keep the story
It's telling how the world revolves time after time on paving slabs
Walking the distance of life in a time that caught us unaware
The future opens up the brightness for the fight that lay ahead
Capturing things when thinking of all the beauty that disappeared
Those moments remember the people who were left out to die
Saviour in the soldiers who battle with the ownership of lands
Dealing with the things that are convenient enough to dispose of
An immaterial matter of the consequences who thought it clever
Admired inexpensive ideas lay ahead hidden in the deep
Writing letters in the sand until the sea comes in with a flood
And that in washing away some principle characters wish for
Housing departments conveniently built for the secrets kept
Staying away from the arrangements that drowned in our souls
Making things better for the crazy poets who can carry it across
Touching upon the hugs who settled down to feel comfortable
Next is the light we always see in minds with towers of genius
The knowledge gained and overtook the readings of any Bible
Believing in the extinction of human ideas that are well above us
Mathematically confused the equations for forever in life we die
Bringing together the darkness with the thought of nightmares
Pinning down the pressures of writing another caring love poem
Frustrated took us apart when we were never really all together
Solace in a time and place where the Holy Land has gathered
Becoming witness to the strong magnetic forces of nature
Our lands alive with the footsteps that always seem to get off
In bettering the battles of coincidence defending the line of fire
Taking up the efforts in which intelligence will never leave behind.

great page! you could be a novelist.
and I think you know it. that is
    something I never could be.
it would be to much pressure
for my head. ill always be
    a lowly poet

Thank you, onepauly, that's very kind of you to say that. I have in fact been compiling a book for over a year now and it will be on the shelve at the end of this year, that's the plan anyway. I'm excited you think I could be a novelist, it's my dream to be just that. you should try not being negative and just crack on writing what you love writing about. you may never know until you actually see how you improve over the time keep writing. so, even if you a lowly poet you work will be appreciated just the same as anyone else's. I, for one, love reading what you write. keep the good work up and just do the best you can each time you produce a piece.

you\'re very welcome, malubotelho. I\'m glad you are enjoying the MPS site and reading the massive variations in work. it\'s a great place to flex your poetry magic. that\'s what I try to do anyway.
