Pain is an all too familiar emotion
It lives deep in me
Makes love to me
Comforts me
Knows me
In and out
No need to make me feel it
I do it perfectly by myself
Self inflicted
That's the best part
Physical? That's nothing
It's as silent as death
Hidden behind my smiles
Can you feel it?
