Value is important

You never really know the value of something until it is gone.

People these days take everything for granted without even knowing it.

Simple things like being able to walk out of bed in the morning to having someone care about you more than they care about themselves.

I recently lost something I took for granted and only now do I realize its value.

I was extremely appreciative while it was happening, yet I didn't really see what I was losing until it was already gone.

From now on, I am going to live every moment like it's my last and cherish the people in my life like I am going to lose them.

Because one day I will and I'll wish I hadn't taken it for granted.
