When I Am Dead.

kevin browne

When I am dead and I still think the same as I did before
Crying out for the sake of it just because nobody ever said
Issues with conformity referred everything back to normal
Affirmative thinking in the thoughts of everyone's yesterdays
Stealing the wisdom that taught us how to use very wisely
With a concept concealed of a spirit in someone's eye
Ripped by the effect of never being able to fall apart
Breaking beats in a heart where the river turned blood into a stone
Breathtaking bullets bite your tongue with the temptations of killing
Picking up broken flowers with petals telling a story for the end
When the Dr says it's you this time but you're sleeping in your grave
Brothers holding sisters if only the mother is already dead
Crying out for the loudness that everyone shouts about
Confusing sometimes when even the politicians get off home at night
That a loving person somewhere somehow can always see the light
Depending on the future for it's there we have to go
Falling from the grace which showed us all how to beg
With that, in following up the information we never heard of
Regretting we looked and touched upon Gods living things
The pastures are filled with fruits from the civilisation which begun
The Lords prayers hurt me when I heard him say I was the one
Forgive me for forgiving but all I ever wanted was to be a messenger
In the light that was given for everything to see the way
And I rest in my peace now for as long as I may.

    great poem king kev.
    I understand most of it.
the line that meant more to me was,
    depending on the future
