Miss Xtraordinary

Failure

I failed my life,

It was all a mistake.

It was just a matter of time,

Before everything would break.

I failed my friends,

They all trusted me.

I disappointed them,

Is this who I was meant to be?

I failed my lover,

All he wanted was love.

I tried to make him happy,

But no one spoke from the above.

I failed my career,

I had a chance.

But I blew it all,

All because of a horrid trance.

I failed my family,

They believed in my lies.

They believed it all,

Even if they looked in my eyes.

I failed my life,

It was all a mistake.

It was just a matter of time,

Before everything would break.

And so would I...

Remember, if a poet writes something, its doesn't have to be about them. This poem is actually what my friend described what she is feeling when I asked what's wrong when she was sad. Thanks anyway though x

Oh I'm sure it's not THAT bad. Plus, if your life is like that, then there is always a place for you to start over :)

Miss X, after reading this poem I started to worry about you, then I saw your reply and felt relief. It is a great poem, you do have the ability to put yourself into somebody else's shoes. Sometimes I feel like an actor when writing about something I did not experience myself.

Don't worry, everything is fine. Thank you for the positive comment, And i also feel like an actor when writing about something i haven't experienced. But it comes easily to me, like writing stories or poems :)
