i tried to scan you but my card was declined
no surprise with all the walls i hid behind
i think we both knew my funds weren't in order
and what do i expect when all i gave you was a quarter
of what i should have ,what i could of had was you
as far as opportunity my chances were more than a few
im like those who let you go didnt realize what they had
call me a fool i treated you like a fad
its all coming in becoming transparent
i didnt see your worth and made my feelings incoherent
and here now with my regret i walk down this floor
i do understand and ill show myself to the door

You just put to words one of the things ive been trying to for a long time now.
thats good! thank you!☺
I think it says a lot about your character that you recognize what happened, and that you thought enough to put this into words. Welcome, and better luck next time dear.
thank you heather!
To regret late is better than to not regret at all. If you cannot fix this mistake, at least you can learn from it.
Very nice poem with a lot of emotion.
thank you!
