Equality

saphira

Gay or straight.

male or female.

we fought for what

we thought was right.

we fought so we

had equal rights.

and yes

some doubted

they thought

we're wrong

but in the end

we proved we're strong.

we fought until

We met the day

Where we could say

we're treated the same.

Sadly there will always be injustice and inequality. I'm a brit but i do know some words of the U.S. constitution. I wish that the words of that work were in the hearts of everyone. There are many rivers to cross but the journey is a noble one.
