Scars

malubotelho

Relationships always lives marks on us. Each one leaves just some more scars, designed with tears, anger, love, misunderstanding and also joy. I imagine each of those components on different colors. Liquid dyes of sorrow and happiness, cast on our soul with discretion. Eventually one will open the window for someone to see it. You might be the one to have this opportunity now.
I'm a poet, not a mathematician. I will always be liquid form, dripping with emotions related with pain and love. Those feelings can not be denied with in. They create the roads for life to flow. Without feelings all we have is an empty space. A gap on time. Peaceful gap felt with joy sometimes. It is when the mouth drops a bit and the eyes reflects nothing at all.
It is the meditative state of mind.
Life is transition, it can have the nature of a soft summer breeze or be tough as a winter storm. The pain is real then. It is stamped with fire and leave deep scars. Sometimes one only learn with pain. Love does not teach everything. Love is what softens after the pain. It is felt like peace. Like a soft touch from kind hands. Like a warm embrace.

Oh yes. I like that too. Why is it that when we write we don't get a grip of things. This is why the comments enriches our writes. Makes us see better. Thank you.

First of all, thanks for the picture showing the pink hibiscus, Hawaii's State flower (it's actually the bright yellow one, but a hibiscus is a hibiscus).
Comparing feelings to color is so true. (Yesterday I saw red, today I am feeling blue). I just love your writing. It gets under my skin. Once I start reading I cannot stop.

Awe! Thanks. I feel like going back to write right now. I have to go jogging though. I appreciate your kind comment.

yes, meditation is able to help soften the scars we take with us in our journey through life.

                  • malubotelho

Yes, I think the scar will be there but it can be just like a tattoo. It pains only when it is being impressed but after it is there just like an art work.

                    • onepauly

that's a very good way to express it.
