From He to She

little lay lay

Oh she,  she whom I love.  She who consumes the most of me.  She that listens to me.  She who is a part of me.  She who is with me wherever I go.

Oh she, she my friend, my friend who knows me.  She fulfills me nicely, sweetly, lovely.  She cares for me wholeheartedly.  She's the one who cured me.  She found me willingly.  And frankly, I will never forget how.

  • Comment from author about the poem: The song is a TRUE love song. It is expressed truly and I love this song. I feel as if it fits the poem wonderfully. Please pay attention to how he embraces and executes each word as if he is singing it to his significant other right there in front of her even though it is in the studio. "She" is everything to him and "She" cures him through thick and thin. They found each other perfectly.

Bianca, thank you! You just described my wife of 40 years perfectly! Very well written too!

Loveliness! I enjoyed the song, also.
