When one is unwell

anoldwoman

What can you do

when one is so blue?

The others surround

the one who is down.

They don't know what to do.

Uncertainty abounds

in their surrounds.

What will happen to the one so blue?

They don't know what to do.

Help arrived; chaos ensued.

Kicking and screaming, the one so blue

must be subdued.

The others didn't know what to do.

They paced and waited to see

what would happen to he;

what or if the one so blue

would come back once again true.

They're not sure what to do.

They sniff him over; nothing is new.

He still smells and feels blue.

They  walk away

They don't know how to feel that way.

Their uncertainty continues true.

But the next day comes around

and the one so blue is now sound.

They come to see him new

Now no one is so very blue.

Now they do know what to do.

To anoldwoman from an old man: I love your poem. You are so right, and you expressed it beautifully. Unless you fit their mold, people just don't have a clue on what to do.
    But writers are different!
