Let me out

Dent Moses

Still, still beating

eventually you'll break through.

Still, still breathing

eventually you'll come to.

Still, still speaking

take me to a place where I can fall.

Still open

armed the ocean

these walls are tall

these halls are long

let me out

let me out

let me out

let me out

these streets are stretching out.

Still, still sunken

laying down without a sound.

    I could be wrong, and apologies if I am, but is this about mental illness? Strong poem.
