Flow Without Flow

Emile Dubois

Is this stagnation I see before me?

A blank canvas as opposed to a shop bought tapestry?

In a quest to feel something I over thought, feeling nothing

I merely skimmed a surface, the essence lost elsewhere

The unfolding that rarely transpires

A dull aching from the subconscious senses

That sensation of something amiss for which I could not name then, for which even eludes me now.

Ina quest to feel something I over thought.... We over think, we over do, we over correct, we over edit. And then we sit there wondering....

Clever expressions on an overripe fruit and with so much food for later thought. Great read Emile.
