- To every light there's a darker space,

- For every darker face there's something bright so just fight for your place,

- Just make it right before it's too late,

- Take it at your own pace and find your fate,

- Break away from this hate and just try to relate because you can't replace what you had before this rate that your living,

- So,

- Start giving,

- Just remember that you have a heart and start forgiving before your eaten alive by rage,

- Just unlock the cage and let it out and survive to see tomorrow's page,

- Just go on and take the stage despite the sorrows that you feel,

- Just forget what they steal,

- Dont regret and be thankful for every meal,

- Just know that everything that seems to be a dream is oh so real to see,

- So,

- Dont forget what you wanna be,

- Dont regret who you used to be and just keep strong,

- Just remember how long you fought,

- Just forget what you thought and throw away the pride,

- Just find what's deep inside,

- Let it seep for the ones you loved that died,

- Dont believe the words that they lied,

- So,

- Dont focus on your wounds even though there open wide and bleeding,

- Just remember what your needing and not what your wanting,

- Go and get it,

- Go and let go of what's haunting and fight to live,

- So,

- Dont be sad,

- Forget what's bad,

- just remember to give the love you never had.

- Comment from author about the poem: Tribute to my people still without a home and abandoned on the streets, my people in the hood still fighting to live and feed their family, and the people who live to die.

Beautiful piece of work, true talent.
Thank you, much appreciated my friend.
I was a homeless person so many times I cant count them. i lived in a tent in the woods for two summers with no income except what i could get living off the land. i lived in a city too. and i know what we go through. lots of my friends passed away. i feel abandoned. but i get through it. by keeping busy just doing small things like watching my 1300 dvd's also cd's. but you read my profile so you already know. i might write a book about my homeless adventures. peace be with you.
Thanks my man, and I'm still homeless at the moment but I'm a survivor and I'm sure I'll find my way.
i'll help you any way I can. my poems can be inspiring as I know yours are. remember, any way I can.
