Alive

Pudders1994

My mind as fast as a waterfall flushing through me

Like the river below.

Crash, crash, crash my thoughts...

Erupted.

Colours surround my very existence.

My body still, my mind hushes

I feel alive once again

My frame aches with pain.

I sense it all. I look to the brain.

Decay sets in. Frail and thin.

Like a caterpillar locked in

I think no more, I break free.

I feel alive once again

I'm nothing...I'm everything

Vibrating, illuminating

the darkness within.

Like a butterfly breaking free.

I now have the key.

Alive once more I become.

I feel no brainstorm again

  • Comment from author about the poem: It explains everyone's mind and how death and being alive are the same thing. It also touches greatly with law of attraction and positivity. The struggle to stay positive but once you become your very existence which is pure consciousness whether a live or dead you becone free.
