Sculpting with his words,
the verse carved through the silence
—until screaming loud

True Worth
An ounce of experience
—is worth 1000 lbs. of why

Watching The Calendar Turn
Fighting my memory,
I watched the calendar turn
Flashes of my grandfather
Racing through my mind
Age wasn’t supposed to be like this
Or then…maybe it was
Darkness
Followed by darkness
Then more darkness again
Where is the light
Hours of larceny
Time being stolen
Waiting, waiting
Fighting with my
Memory
—watching the calendar turn
(Villanova Pennsylvania: November, 2013)
1972 'Nittany Mountain' Ladies Choice
Dancing to the music
inside a mountain garage
—Laura became my partner
Lost within her melody,
found within her words
—never to be alone again
(Villanova Pennsylvania: January, 2014)
