Convincing myself of my own importance
—I became an audience of one
(Bryn Mawr College: Pennsylvania: January, 2014)
New Hampshire Dawn
Coming from nowhere
Going the same
The tracks in front
Pointing to
Tracks behind
The wind on the lake
Reminding
That I am still a guest
The snow on the ice
An invitation
Begging acceptance
New Hampshire Winters
Are white
In my memory
And frozen in their
Clarity
Even whiter
Dawns
Out of the stillness
A Moose crashes
Through the snow
Never acknowledging
My presence
His majesty
Confirming everything
That unfound I’ve lost
His spirit cries out
And with quiet respect
I follow him across
The frozen lake
Leaving tracks of memory
One final time
—never to be seen again
(Villanova Pennsylvania: February, 2014)
Moments On The Run
The felony of language
—its larceny of time
(Villanova Pennsylvania: February, 2014)

A brilliant two-liner, Kurt! You made me laugh out loud. Thanks for this bit of wisdom.
My pleasure. Thanks, Louis.
across the board in general us humans seem to constantly have this idea of keeping confidence down in other people. it's of the most benefits that to realize the importance of ones self. a two liner yeah but the connotations it resonates to me are ten fold. cool quote my friend.
Thanks, Kevin
Hey, you leave my audience out of this!

Kurt
You know why I like to talk to myself? I like to talk to intelligent people!
🙂
Dawn---profound.
Audience of one. -- reminds me of joke I read this week. "When I wake up in the morning I love to see the smile of someone who loves me and to enjoy a cup of coffee---therefore I drink my coffee in front of a mirror. -------love your work.
Made me smile! Thanks, A.
Kurt
