I Gave You The Voodoo

Edthepoet

In Every act of adultery
when the taste of your lies stung like vinegar on open skin
it was I who provided reason for your every act of sin
Every time your hands were tied it was I who provided treason
At the bottom of every bottle it was me screaming freedom
In every drop of blood you spilt it was me who lay there beaten
It's amazing how much you're missing
To busy killing yourself for a living
And now the final grain of sand has dropped and not a second later
You look a little suprised to see me
Please to meet you I'm your maker

I gave you the voodoo
To use between there legs
I gave you the hoodoo
They tried to reason with instead
Of running for the hills
They run towards your bed

I gave you the voodoo
To take whatever you want
I gave you the hoodoo
To taste every last drop

I gave you the voodoo
But you left nothing in the jar
Now we have a problem
And you still don't know where you are

It's kinda hot down here don't you think
Where the hell do you...
Damn sometimes I wish
I could think before I speak

It's nice to see the fear spill from the eyes as the fire fills the white for the very first time
Those baby blues turn red
And you finally realise
Every truth behind the lie.
