Turn Away

lostgirl24

As I walk this barren path,
Covered in gravel and stones,
I leave behind a bloodbath,
And memories littered like bones.

This fighting isn't right,
We need a new solution,
We need to bring the light
Without this bloody revolution.

And as I walk this road in tears,
Wondering what went wrong,
I think about the fallen years,
And an old, rebel's song.

Haha I've been singing my own song all day today too.

"ringing alone in my automobile, I'm the power behind the wheel, now I just click on your stuff, telling I'm on the right track.

Feed that power you have, we are the change 😉

I like the song! And I'm hoping that indeed we are the change!

You do have a way with words, lostgirl, and you are so right too.
      Thanks for sharing.
