Blackbird

Edthepoet

Picked apart for being different from the very start, feeling insignificant, dealing with malevolent beings ignorant to anything different, wishing away feelings of complete irrelevancy longing to be living in the city belonging to something other than nonsensical hypocrisy disabling dreams like leprosy, it doesn't take a highly functioning pineal body to see this isn't where you're supposed to be...

Little Blackbird
Fly to me
Follow the electricity
Flowing through your body
As you sleep
Fly little Blackbird
For you have now seen.

Yes it is amazing that we dream such beauty whilst living on the aggressive ball of ugliness mankind has made much of this planet into. Love the pounding madness of the first part and the sweet beautiful gentleness of the contrasting finale. Really good.
