Goodbye green eyed hero ,
Sail high tonight.


Goodbye green eyed hero ,
We have parted ways.


I didn't get my goodbye superman,
I didn't get my warning.


I tried to tag you in a post ,
But your Facebook was gone in the morning.


Goodbye green eyed hero,
That is at least until tomorrow.


When I shall look into those green eyes,
Those green eyes of sorrow .

    I like that you aren't using alot of figurative language. It's just saying what you want to say. It's hard to lose someone without warning. I have had a recent loss so I know. Thanks for sharing this!
