Drifter no longer drifting

Poetic Dan

Most of my life I've just drifted, never really wanting to know what the deal is . Until that day my little boy at aged four, slap me with a reflection I couldn't ignore .

From that day, to many weeks after he'd  help me strip away what I'd struggled to master

Little did I know this started a chain of events where my brain would never be the same again

No more unknowing questions to be asked for he was the one to teach me the psychology of behaviour
Just to read it and watch him transform before my eyes, I truly thank you son so much for being exactly who you are.

The goodness that's inside you will forever make me the proudest father to walk this land, knowing your wisdom is guiding me, again I thank you Jake for showing me what the true deal is.

Just curious, is English your primary language? By the way, massive props for the title.

We were given children to teach us I've heard. Wish I had listened more. Kudos
