a smile, that doesn't reach the eyes.
a sadness, absent of tears to cry.
doubtfulness, unhappiness, confusion.
the lingering feeling of the lack of unison.
torn between directions, the head and the heart;
which one is which, when you can't tell them apart?
a cry for sanity, begging to return.
the feeling of heartbreak.. a devastating burn.

I feel that horrible limbo state in your words where you are freshly out of a relationship and feel the loss of and need for a special someone/something to make u feel whole again. Nice one.
